Export responses

Excel, CSV and JSON files, and a file of the form itself.

Export responses

  1. Open Results, then the Export tab.
  2. Turn on Include unfinished responses or Include responses flagged as spam if you want them.
  3. Press Download next to Excel (.xlsx), CSV or JSON.
  • Spreadsheets have one column per question, and a few extra: response ID, receipt, status, time, language, seconds, version, ending, quiz score, tags, reviewed, edited and last edited. Edited responses show their latest answers.
  • For matrix questions there is one column per row.
  • JSON keeps the raw answers with stable option identifiers.
  • File upload answers show how many files were sent. Open a response to download the files. See File uploads.

Export the form

On the Share tab, Download form file saves the questions, logic, translations and design. It never includes responses or access codes. You can import it into any Chaos account. See Templates and import.
